Predstavljanje umjetnice Aire Lee

Na XLVI. Art ćakuli  nam se predstavila švedsko-finska umjetnica Aira Lee.

XLVI. Art ćakula: Aira Lee, nedjelja, 5. prosinca 2021.

Izlagač: Aira Lee
Moderator: Dora Vukičević-Hellström

Na XLVI.  Art ćakuli Aira Lee nas je provela kroz svoj studio i svoje različite interese. Vidjeli smo svilu oslikanu reaktivnim, a ne pigmentnim bojama, vidjeli smo meditativne radove izvedene vezom i “Korona prijatelje” također izvedene vezom, a sudjelovali smo i u slikarstvu prirodnim pigmentima koje autorica sama prikuplja iz tla, na svojim putovanjima

On XLVI.  Art talk had we a pleasant time with Aira Lee who took us through her studio and her various interests. We saw silk painted with reactive rather than pigmented dyes, we saw meditative works done with embroidery and “Corona Friends” also done with embroidery, and we participated in painting with natural pigments that the author herself collects from the ground, on her travels. You can see more of Aira’s work at the link below.

Biografija:

—–

Aira Lee was born in Finland and came to Sweden at the age of six. Creating clothing and artwork has been Aira’s greatest interest her entire life. Personal, timeless clothing and clothing guided by the idea of art before fashion has been her conceptual quest ever since she became aware of the problematic impact of textiles on the environment.

She studied painting at Steiner University, where she came in contact with tempera painting. Ever since she is making her own colors from different pigments, linseed oil, eggs and water. Her latest painting project is to collect soil pigments from different places and create their own colors.
